Functions

Develops and manages a competitive, equitable, and sustainable remuneration system for Uniformed Services.

Develops and manages Detailed Establishment Tables (DETs) for the Uniformed Services.

Oversees disciplinary and grievance procedures in the Uniformed Services.

Provides Secretarial Services to the Uniformed Service Commissions (Defence Forces Service Commission, Police Service Commission, and Prisons and Correctional Service Commission).

Facilitate the design of appropriate functional structures for the Uniformed Services as guided by their Constitutional mandates.

Coordinates the formulation or amendment of legislation relevant to the Uniformed Services according to the Constitution.

Carries out periodic inspections of programs and projects being undertaken by the Uniformed Services in their respective institutions.

Drives the Uniformed Services reforms through the Tripatite Forum.

Manages Wage Bill for the Uniformed Services

Develops strategic solutions to employment-related issues to assist the Uniformed Services in meeting their expected performance, delivery, and productivity levels.

Develops Human Resources policies and programs that transform the Uniformed Services into strategic public assets that promote viable partnerships with the private sector
