Functions

Facilitates the development of strategies (Line Ministries and the Public Service Commission)

Validates Strategic Plans and Client Service Charters from Line Ministries

Conducts researches and surveys for the Public Service Commission.

Capacitates Strategic Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning in Line Ministries.

Undertakes human capital development and management functions at sub-national level, (recruitment, registration of job seekers, deployment, transfers, disciplining and regrading of members)

Drives Public Sector Reforms in the public service.

Provide Human Capital analysis for purposes of appropriate interventions.

Provides Human Resources Advisory Services and compliance checks.

Provides the Minister of State with support for Devolution and Decentralization Agenda.

Engages in public policy research relevant to the development of officers in the Public Service to improve performance in Government.

Develops, implement, monitor and validates the public service performance management system.
