Communication and Advocacy Unit


  1. Design and execute an advocacy and communication strategy
  2. Identify and promote new technologies, platforms and systems to brand, project and position the Ministry
  3. Generate feedback mechanism to assess and evaluate staff behaviour and its impact on service delivery, including aspects of grooming and protocol
  4. Plan publicity strategies and campaigns for the Ministry. This includes event management, roadshows and tours
  5. Manage the Ministry’s positive use of social media to build its image
  6. Monitor media reports and public opinions regarding the Ministry’s programs and projects
  7. Maintain the highest visibility of the Ministry in print, broadcast, TV and online media
  8. Manage external and internal dissemination of information of the Ministry’s policies, programs and projects
  9. Prepare marketing and promotional material for the Ministry, both print and electronic as well as corporate
  10. Recommend, implement and maintain website design in liaison with the Ministry’s ICT Department
  11. Promote the Ministry’s programs and projects to stakeholders
  12. Prepare and participate in the Ministry’s Exhibitions and outreach programs
  13. Provide Signage
  14. Create newsletters or and magazines for the Ministry.
