- Evaluate project feasibility and conduct due diligence on investment
- Liaison with investment regulatory agencies
- Conduct risk assessments for all investments
- Develop investment models to economically empower VLS communities
- Develop an Investment Management policy for the Ministry
- Develop economic empowerment business linkages for the VLS communities
- Monitor and evaluate performance of the Ministry’s investments
- Facilitate bilateral and multilateral exchanges on business and investments opportunities
- Draft investment proposal for approval by Cabinet
- Oversee investment portfolios of Veterans Special purpose vehicles
- Optimise revenue inflows into the Veterans fund
- Conduct international benchmarking of investment portfolios
- Produce reports for onward submission to the Chief Director
- Identify and Secure Investment projects Opportunities
- Maintain Investments Database
- Maintain Potential Investors Database
- Communicate and Ensure Compliance with Shareholder vision and directives
- Manage modalities for the transfer of the Ministry’s Empowerment Assets to Appointed Boards
- Monitor and evaluate implementation of Board Resolutions
- Monitor Adherence to Corporate Governance Standards.
